Cokie Roberts (born December 27, 1943 – died September 17, 2019) is an American Author and Journalist from New Orleans, United States. She contributed as a political analyst and reporter for the ABC News and National Public Radio.

Furthermore, she also handled the prominent positions in the World News Tonight, This Week and Morning Edition. Mary and her spouse named Steven began a weekly column in the United Media newspapers.

She worked on the board for the Kaiser Family Foundation. On the other hand, she was also a bestseller writer and penned books such as Ladies of Liberty and From This Day Forward. She suffered from breast cancer disease in 2002.

Then, she completed her medical treatment at that time. However, she faced severe health complications from some time. The cause of death of Roberts has not known. She died in Washington DC on September 17, 2019.
