Disha Ravi (born in 1998) is an Indian youth climate change activist from Bangalore. She is also a founder of Fridays For Future.

She came into the limelight after she got arrested in the Toolkit case. As per the reports of Delhi police, she along with two other wanted activists held a meeting on Zoom before Republic Day and planned a social media noise on the tractor rally.

Delhi Police stated that Disha was arrested on February 13, 2020 (Saturday) afternoon from her home in Bengaluru in the presence of her mother and a local police officer.

According to the reports, the arrest notice has her mother’s signature. Although, she was also in touch with her lawyers. Moreover, the Delhi police did not get approval from a local court, as is the legal criterion.

The investigators also claimed that Ravi was a key conspirator. Further, the activist was also in an attempt to strengthen a Khalistani group. So that they can prepare and spread the Toolkit.
