Farrukh Jaffar (born in 1933) is an Indian popular personality, actress, theatre artist, radio announcer, and entrepreneur from Chakesar village, district Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. She is famously known in the country as the first announcer of the radio station Akashvani Lucknow.

The 87-year-old lady married at a very early age. Her parents married her with Syed Muhammad Jaffar in the year 1946. At the time of her marriage, Farrukh Jaffar was only 13 years old. Her husband Syed Muhammad was an eminent journalist and the freedom fighter of India.

After some time, Syed became the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Congress Party. After marriage, Farrukh Jaffar gave birth to two daughters named “Mehru Jaffar” and “Shaheen Jaffar”.

Mehru is a journalist and author. Shaheen is the owner of a local school. She has a great passion for acting since childhood. At present, she is 87 years old and still working in movies. In an interview, Farrukh said that acting is her life.
