Hassan Rouhani (born November 12, 1948) is an Iranian politician and the 7th President of the country Iran. He got selected as the president in the year 2013. Rouhani is a member of the Moderation and Development Party since 1999.
Hassan is currently in news because of an attack on the American military base in Iran. The world is expecting that his actions and the retaliation from America can cause World War 3.

At the end of the second week of 2020, Iran shot down a plane unintentionally in Iran which was a Ukrainian plane. In the attack, 176 passengers got killed. There were Germans, Swedish people, Iranians and people from the other countries on the plane.

There is a tension between Iran and the USA which developed because Iran possesses nuclear power. In the year 2020 America attacked Qassem Soleimani, an Iranian general through a drone.

He has 4 siblings 1 brother and 3 sisters. His brother’s name is Hossein Feridon and the name of his sisters is not known. Hassan’s father had a spice shop in Sakineh.
He did his religious studies from a mosque. For his education from a modern school, he attended a local school.
After school education, he went to the University of Tehran and did a BA in Law. After this, he went to Scotland and did M.Phil. in law from Glasgow Caledonian University. Thus he is a well-educated person and a highly qualified man.

Political Career, Salary, Wealth & Net worth
As we all know he is the 7th prime minister of Iran and is entered politics at a very early age. He is the follower of the Iranian Leader named Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. He joined his revolutionary movement against the king of Iran named Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi.
Rouhani was only 17 years old at that time. He even got arrested many times during the movement. He did struggle in the movement for about 2 decades with Khomeini.
In the year 1980, he got selected as a member of the Parliament of Iran. He even held the leadership of the supervisory council of IRIB.
In the Iran-Iraq war, he was a member of the defense counsel. Because of the participation in movement and of his liberal views he got viewed as an idol candidate for the elections of Prime Minister of Iran.
So he participated and declared his participation on May 7, 2013. His main competition was Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. But, Rouhani won the elections when the results got declared On 15 June 2013.
