Muhyiddin Yassin (born May 15, 1947) is a politician from Malaysia. He has served the country in different eminent positions. From 2009-2015 he was the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. He is a member of the Indigenous party and is in Malaysian Politics from 48 years. Before coming into politics he was the ADO of Muar.
On 24th February the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad resigned from his position after which on 29th February he got elected as the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
On 1st March 2020, he took sworn in the presence of Mahathir Mohamad and other honorable persons.

In the year 1947 (age 72 years, as in 2019), the famous politician Muhyiddin Yassin took birth in Muar, Johor, Malayan Union. Yassin’s birthday party happens on 15th May every year.

In an interview, he accepted that now he is very conscious of what he eats and makes sure to work out (light exercises) daily.

Political Career & Net worth
After his graduation, he served his country as ADO of Muar but later he left civil services and joined politics in the year 1971. He joined UMNO (United Malays National Organisation).
In the year 1978, he became the Member of Parliament from Pagoh constituency. From 1986-1995 he served as the Menteri Besar of Johor. In 1995 he became Minister of Youth and Sports. He served at this position till 1999. Muhyiddin Yassin got appointed as the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumerism in 1999.
In this position, he served for 4 years till 2003. He has a long career in politics and as we mentioned earlier he has been on the positions with great importance like Minister of Education, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, etc.
As we came to know he is a very honest person and really wants to work for his country and the people of Malaysia are expecting a lot. Reports say that Muhyiddin Yassin’s net worth is around $10 million USD as in 2020.
In May 2018 he became the minister of home affairs and from there he became the Prime Minister of India in the year 2020 on 29th February.
