He is famously known in the Tamil film industry as being the son of “H. D. Kumaraswamy” who is the chief minister of Karnataka. In 2016, he stepped into the entertainment industry with his first Telugu movie named “Jaguar”.

His grandfather “H. D. Deve Gowda” was the 11th Prime Minister of India, who served his service as a PM from 1 June 1996 to 21 April 1997. His father “H. D. Kumaraswamy” is also a politician and the chief minister of Karnataka.
His mom “Anitha Kumaraswamy” is a politician and a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. Apart from politics, she is also a movie producer and the owner of a channel. Nikhil never mentioned his siblings, perhaps he is the only child in his family and he has no siblings.
