Nishikant Kamat (Hindi: “निशिकांत कामत”, born 17 June 1970) was an Indian famous personality, actor, director, filmmaker, producer, and entrepreneur from Dadar, Maharashtra, India. He is famously known in the country for his excellent work in the Bollywood movie “Drishyam”.

He is well-known as the famous filmmaker of Bollywood. Not only Bollywood, but he also gives super hit movies in the Marathi film industry. Nishikant Kamat was also honored with National Film Award for his excellent work in the Marathi movie “Dombivali Fast”.

Apart from a filmmaker, Kamat also worked as an actor in some of his movies including Hava Aney Dey, 404 Error Not Found, Daddy, Bhavesh Joshi, and others. Nishikant passed away at the age of 50 on 17 August 2020.

Nishikant Kamat’s death

Bollywood’s popular filmmaker, producer, and entertainer Nishikant Kamat kicked the bucket on Monday, 17 August 2020[1]Hindustan Times. He was experiencing a hazardous liver illness called liver cirrhosis. He has coordinated splendid movies like Drishyam, Mumbai Meri Jaan, and Madari.

In an announcement gave by AIG Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Nishikant Kamat passed on Monday at 16:24 hours. As per the sources, he was suffering liver cirrhosis throughout the previous two years.

A couple of days prior on August 12, it was accounted for that Kamat was admitted to the medical clinic in the wake of griping of jaundice and stomach pain, where he was affirmed to have this critical liver disease.
