Rose Short (born September 28, 1985) is an American Reality Television Personality, Musician, Singer, and Songwriter from Killeen, Texas. She garnered huge fan-following after participating in the reality TV show “The Voice” Season 17.

She started her career just completing her college education in 2006. Rose became a corrections officer at the Alfred D. Hughes maximum-security prison in Gatesville. Furthermore, the singer worked there for eight years.
