Earlier, he worked as a software engineer in India. On 6 July 2018, the 26-year-old Student shot dead by some unknown identity at J’s Fish and Chicken Market. He used to do a part-time job at this restaurant.
In addition, the incident was described as an armed robbery by the police of Missouri. Sharath moved to the USA earlier this year in order to receive his master’s degree in engineering.

Raghu Chowdavaram (cousin) raised $45,000 USD with the support of the crowdfunding campaign in order to help Sharath’s family financially. Indian consulate officials in Chicago trying to get his dead body back to India to his family.
